Terms of Use

BookHotelia publishes a directory of accommodations so guests can contact each property directly. BookHotelia:

• Is not the property owner, operator, or agent.
• Is not a payment processor and does not collect payment for stays.
• Is not a party to any booking contract, which is exclusively between guest and property.
• Does not verify property ownership, licences, prices, availability or house rules, other than the "verified contact" signal described below.

The "Verified contact" badge means only that the property's contact email has been confirmed as working. It is not a certification of quality, legality, ownership, insurance, safety or licence status.

• Confirm all booking details directly with the property before paying.
• Comply with the property's house rules and applicable law.
• Do not attempt to pay BookHotelia for a stay. We never process payments.
• Use the site only for lawful purposes.

By publishing a listing, the property owner represents that they:

• Are the property's owner, operator, or authorised representative.
• Hold all necessary permits, licences, tax registrations and insurance.
• Have the rights to publish all content (name, photos, description) and grant BookHotelia a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it as part of the directory.
• Provide accurate, up-to-date information about the property.
• Handle guest data received via the listing in accordance with applicable data protection law.
• Are solely responsible for the booking relationship, any refunds, complaints, or disputes with guests.

• Fraudulent, misleading, or illegal listings.
• Scraping or bulk-copying the directory without our written permission.
• Attempting to circumvent security or abuse the platform.
• Content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.

We may remove listings or suspend access without notice for suspected violations.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookHotelia disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee accuracy of listings, availability of properties, or uninterrupted access to the site.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookHotelia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any losses arising out of a booking, stay, cancellation, refund dispute, injury, or interaction with a property. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid to BookHotelia — which, for guests, will normally be zero.

Send reports (including copyright complaints, safety issues, or requests to remove a listing you own) to [complaints@bookhotelia.example — TBD]. Include the listing URL and evidence supporting your request.

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect from the updated effective date above. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — TBD], without regard to conflict of laws principles. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply where relevant.
